I have triumph herald 13/60 I custom-made a alternator, when i turn it over the cooling fan turns anti clock wise some how I got it into my head it just be turning clock informed is my engine...

Your machine turns clockwise it was the triumph Acclaim that turned anticlockwise.On a 13/60 the fan was fixed i agree with previous author that its probably got a Kenlow conversion

no you will have to switch the alternator an easy one to instal is the GM one off of any pre 82 GM car/truck it is an easy one wire install but you will have to make a custom braket

british bikes did terminate with pos earth .when every thing else was neg .is the boyer system neg or pos earth .you may have to get a diff alt,what about a magneto no baterry or alt.and a lot...
